Have I ever shared what a day looks like in my life? Some days are less busy than others, while some days are flat out non-stop from the moment I step off my bed. You would think by summertime it gets easier and less stressful, and in a way it is because there’s less homework to complete by the end of the week, but it isn’t. Summertime for work-at-home Mom’s means you have to find other ways of keeping your children busy, because if you don’t, they’re coming to you for EVERY LITTLE THING, which makes getting work done a challenge.
Currently, I have my oldest in tutoring twice a week, which means I also have to make sure she stays on track with the homework she brings home from it. Also, both my kids are taking swimming classes during the summer every day of the week. In addition to that, there’s household duties such as grocery shopping, keeping up with the laundry, reminding my children to pick up after themselves so we don’t end up with toys all over the house, making breakfast, snack, lunch, dinner, and washing all the dirty dishes that end up in our sink each day.
So, as you can imagine, we need some downtime at some point during the week. Whether that means going to a movie, arcade, a park, or just taking a drive, we don’t always go prepared. One of my favorite spots to make a quick food stop is at 7-Eleven. Did you know you can find fast fresh food at 7-11? They have a variety of fresh meals and snacks ready for you to grab when you’re on the go! I’m not just saying that because this is a compensated post either. We have been 7-Eleven fans for many years. There’s something for everyone there. Got a craving? Hungry? Thirsty? Need Gas or an ATM? They have it all!
Here’s a list of some of the fresh food they offer:
- Fresh sandwiches (which can be toasted there as well)
- Fresh cut fruit
- Whole fruit
- Yoplait yogurt parfaits with oats and honey granola
- Boiled eggs
- String Cheese
- Bistro snack packs with mini pitas, cheddar cheese cubes, red grapes, celery, baby carrots, and hummus
Many of us eat away from home more often now days, so I love that their fresh food line offers a variety of healthier on-the-go options. Some days I need a candy bar, but other days all I want is something light such as fruit or a hard boiled egg. I can count on 7-Eleven for all of those needs when I don’t have the time to pack us a lunch, or want to avoid getting a kids meal from a drive-through window. Every day is different for every family. And every family has a different need.
I’m here to remind you that 7-Eleven really tries to fulfill those needs in a convenient way when it comes to fresh food. As a matter of fact, below is a small sample of how much fresh food they are serving up each year!
- 170,437 sandwiches sold each day
- 71 million bananas sold each year
- 13.3 million apples sold each year
- 13.6 million fruit cups sold each year
- 2.8 million parfait cups sold each year
They really are striving to accommodate their customer’s busy lifestyle needs while on the go.
Oh, and there’s one more thing I have to share with you before I go! Did you know slurpee’s are free all day tomorrow? Yup! Every summer on July 11th only, you can count on a free small size cup of whatever slurpee flavor they have available that day. Cool, right? We always get one. I hope you get a chance to pick one up tomorrow as well! If you don’t know where the closest 7-Eleven is to you, click on the logo below and it will direct you to their fresh food homepage where you can find a store near you.
Have a great weekend friends!
